1. Export and upload
Start with a GEDCOM 5.5 or 5.5.1 file; UTF-8 is recommended. Confirm that you are authorized to submit it. A secure guest session keeps the project yours before you verify an email identity.
2. Check the import
Review people, families, sources, media references and warnings. Find the starting person using names and dates, then choose the number of descendant generations. Disconnected branches are outside that edition.
3. Build and inspect
Choose the title, dedication, page size and privacy settings. A complete candidate PDF is generated privately. The preview contains selected pages only; the ready screen shows the actual page count and warnings.
4. Verify, purchase and download
Verify your recovery email before checkout. The reviewed edition is fixed, so a later change creates a separate revision. Once verified payment is received, download that edition again during its retention window. Purchasing is not available yet; upload and preview do not require payment.
When something needs attention
A failed import or render cannot proceed to payment. Try a supported export, a smaller branch or fewer generations. We do not automatically repair damaged research or silently drop records to fit a limit.
